Terms & Conditions

Last updated 14 June 2026 · Operated by Crystal Ocean Enterprises Pvt Ltd

The operator

SERAI Ocean Dream is operated by Crystal Ocean Enterprises Pvt Ltd (“the Operator”), aboard the motor yacht M/Y SERAI Ocean Dream. These terms govern all charters of the vessel. Information on this website is provided for guidance and does not constitute a binding offer; a charter is confirmed only by a written proposal issued by the Operator and accepted by you.

Bookings & confirmation

Charters are offered as full-vessel, cabin, or day charters, for the parties and dates set out in your proposal. The booking is confirmed once the Cruise Booking Form is completed and the confirming deposit is received against the yacht calendar.

Deposit & payment

  • —A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total charter fee is required to confirm and block the charter dates.
  • —The remaining balance of 70% must be settled in full prior to embarkation. Failure to settle the balance by the due date may result in the booking being cancelled without refund.
  • —The charter rate includes accommodation and three meals daily with water. Extras — including motorised water activities, alcohol, diving and optional excursions — are charged separately at prevailing rates. Applicable Maldivian taxes and service charges are confirmed in your proposal.

Cancellation & refunds

  • —The 30% deposit is forfeited in full upon cancellation, regardless of the reason or timing.
  • —All cancellations are strictly non-refundable. No refund, credit, or rescheduling entitlement arises from cancellations made by the Guest for any reason, including illness, travel disruption, missed flights, or change of plans.
  • —We strongly recommend comprehensive travel, medical and (where relevant) dive insurance for every guest.

Force majeure

  • —In circumstances beyond the Operator’s reasonable control — including adverse weather, rough seas, cyclones, government restrictions, pandemics, port closures or other acts of God — the Operator may modify the itinerary, shorten the charter, delay departure, or cancel specific activities without liability, and no refund, credit or compensation is payable.
  • —Where a sustained force-majeure event (exceeding 48 consecutive hours) renders all charter operations impossible, the Operator may, at its sole discretion, offer a pro-rata credit note for future use. No cash refund shall be payable.
  • —Route changes requiring travel to North Malé or South Deep Malé incur additional fuel and logistical charges and must be requested at least one week prior to embarkation.

Itineraries & the Captain’s authority

Itineraries are indicative and shaped around weather, sea state and safety. The Captain has final authority over the vessel’s movements and may amend the route or activities at any time for reasons of safety.

Guest registration & documentation

Each guest completes a Guest Registration Card upon embarkation, providing passport details and confidential health, medical and dietary information. This information is shared only with the Captain and chef to ensure your safety and comfort. Accurate disclosure is a condition of participation.

Health, safety & assumption of risk

Ocean cruising and water activities — including swimming, snorkelling, freediving, scuba diving, kayaking, paddleboarding, water skiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, fishing and island excursions — carry inherent risks. By participating, each guest knowingly assumes those risks, confirms they are in good health and capable of participation, and agrees to follow all instructions of the Captain, Cruise Director and Dive Guide. Scuba and freediving are prohibited for guests with certain medical conditions; no scuba diving takes place within 18 hours of arrival by air, nor within 24 hours before a flight; and freediving is never conducted alone or immediately after scuba diving. A Liability Waiver & Release is signed by each guest before activities commence.

Release of liability & governing law

In consideration of being permitted to participate, each guest releases Crystal Ocean Enterprises Pvt Ltd, its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, crew and dive guides from all liability, claims and causes of action arising from any loss, damage or injury sustained during the charter, including those arising from negligence. These terms and the Liability Waiver are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives.

Guest conduct & responsibilities

Guests will not engage in any water-based activity while under the influence of alcohol or impairing substances. Each guest is personally liable for any damage they cause to the vessel, its equipment, furnishings, or another guest’s property. The Operator is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal valuables; a complimentary safe deposit box is provided in each cabin.

Media & promotion

The Operator may take photographs and video during the charter and use them for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in such material, please advise the Cruise Director at the start of your charter.
